RMC1490 was repainted from the blue and yellow Metrobus livery to the special red and gold livery she carried in 1989 when working on the X15 route. In the photo you see her at the Crewe Heritage Centre.

July 2011 Routemaster Buses supplied buses for the park and ride service between the main arena and the new F1 pits at Silverstones's Best of British event. At its peak over 29,000 people were carried per day.
